So new, there isn't even a photo.

A few years ago our friends at Ultimate Warbirds offered us a display from their 'new' P-51 Mustang, "Jersey Jerk". Back then there was a photo, but only of the aircraft on the ground. That was more than sufficient for us to say yes - they're famed worldwide for having some of the most iconic and perfect aircraft in existence. It was a very safe bet, and it paid off.
Roll forward a few years and "Jersey Jerk" is a firm favourite at Airshows all over the UK. We were very lucky to be able to see one of the finest restorations of North American's answer to the Spitfire - powered by the same Rolls Royce Merlin engine (just with far more horsepower). The Mustang is arguably just as iconic as the Spitfire, has longer range and makes a very distinctive sound.
A sound that you'll hear in stereo in July. Because whilst we do have photos of Jersey Jerk from her appearance at Old Buck, and are delighted to confirm she's coming back, we don't have pictures of the OTHER P-51 which will display with her. All we know is that she's called "Hurry Home Honey" and she's still being restored.
So, here we are with another debut. We've not had two P-51's before and you've 100% not seen Hurry Home Honey yet because, until we get to the Spring, no one has.
