An Award Winning Return

It's been a couple of years since we've seen Christophe display here. His very first air display took place at Old Buckenham and it turned out to be the start of an illustrious display career for France's Christophe Simon.

He went on to display all over the UK at illustrious venues like Duxford and one particular display at RAF Cosford resulted in Christophe being awarded the reserved-for-the-very-best Bill Hartree Award for Best Flown Display.

Since then he's got even better and somehow, in 2023, found time to take a YouTube star for a ride whilst displaying at Old Buck. Before those of you who know the rule book get on the phone to the CAA, don't worry, the YouTube star in question is a teddy bear and there's nothing in the book to prohibit bears as passengers, even upside down.

So we're delighted to be able to welcome back France's Ambassador to the UK Airshow World; you'll get to see just why his exquisite display of aerobatics is such a hit, particularly amongst famous bears.
