Meet Christophe Simon. Christophe was the stand out new display pilot of 2021 and started his Airshow career at Old Buck. He's very good, as the image above proves. It wasn't taken here, but at IWM Duxford and he's pictured shortly after his first display at the home of UK Airshows.
He's back because he's a joy to work with and will doubtless move on from his CAP 10 in a few years to keep WWII warbirds and other exotica stocked with the best pilots in the World.
For this year he'll give an aerobatics masterclass in the agile CAP 10 and that's entirely fitting. It and Christophe are both French.
