Another first for us; thanks to the Aircraft Restoration Company, we've managed to get the ONLY flying Bristol Blenheim bomber in the World.
This particular one, took 25,000 man hours to restore. That's correct, 25,000. There were over a thousand in service in WWII and the bravery of their pilots was often praised by Winston Churchill.
The aircraft flies to commemorate their bravery; a vital task that, along with 25,000 hours, had its challenges. For a start, the cockpit is original but, after the war, was taken off a Blenheim being scrapped and was turned into the body of a car.
So far, then, we've got two bombers. There may be others.....
